Where to buy a hearing aid
It is illegal to be involved in the sale of hearing aids unless you are registered with us. You can check whether someone is registered or find your nearest registered dispenser using this search facility. We update the search every month.
We issue all registered dispensers with a photo ID card, which includes their name and registration number. If you are unsure whether someone is registered or not or you suspect that someone is selling hearing aids illegally please contact the Hearing Aid Council on 020 3102 4030.
How to use the search
To use the search facility, type what you are looking for into the box and click on the search button. You can choose whether you search for individual dispensers or organisations that are registered to provide hearing aids. Try searching for a name, a specific registration number or for a town or city, to find out where to buy near you. If a search for a particular area does not come up with any results, you may wish to widen your search to the nearest city or the county.
